Yesterday was one of those perfect weather days...an "outdoor" kind of a day. :) Danielle brought Ethan over and Kristine brought Kaylee (who Danielle used to watch) and her 5 week old baby sister Nicole (Nikki) over for a playdate. It was so fun to see Kaylee again. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for her and I have missed her so much since Danielle quit watching her. As soon as I opened the front door she jumped into my arms and gave me a big hug. She started chattering away about her lunchbox, her new shoes, HER baby...Next she latched onto Ethan, planting hugs and kisses on her long lost friend.
We finally settled out back to relax and visit while the kids played together.
One of the first things Kaylee and Ethan found was the water table. Water + kids= Never-Fail-Good-Times. :)
Kaylee quickly discovered her "true love"...the trampoline.
This was an all consuming adventure for a good part of the morning. lol.
running....
making herself dizzy twirling round and round....
but the best of all? Hopping around with Ethan until they collapsed with the giggles!
Lunchtime. Kaylee brought quite the stash of food which she carefully explained how she planned to share with Ethan. "Just don't touch my Bunny Crackers".
"No problem", says Ethan. "My mom made me a fancy PB&J and a banana". What more could a guy need?
I see that mischievous grin Kaylee!!!! You aren't planning on pouring that cup of water over Ethan's head are you?! Run, Ethan run............

Hey, that was F U N!!! Do it again, Kaylee!

Ethan attempted to get Kaylee back but mostly ended up pouring more water on himself. Eventually, Kaylee decided Ethan was wet enough and proceeded to find unsuspecting toys to "water". Poor Ethan. I think he has finally figured out just HOW wet he really is.

Sweet baby Nicole. So adorable and you look just like big sister when she was your age.
Two "little Matt's" your mom says.

We wanted a picture of the three of them before they left but Kaylee was back on the trampoline and had no interest in sitting for pictures. Nicole and Ethan were more willing subjects. They are so cute together. I think Ethan was trying to figure out why Nicole only has one foot. Kids are so precious. :)

Time to go home. Nikki is ready for the road, Ethan was tired (he fell asleep in the car after they left) and Kaylee?....well, she was pitching a fit to stay longer. Sorry sweet Kaylee. We will have to get you back over here for another "playdate" before long.

They are all so cute, but seriously can you ever get enough of that grandson of yours. ADORABLE!
I want to come play. Your house sounds like fun.
My oh my, if Maisey saw that Blog she would beg me to drop her off. She already asks about coming over and playing with Rebecca again... Maybe someday!
Thanks for the visit tonight! Now that the sun is down I really better get to work!
